Categories are used in the inventory setup and are an
optional function in Retail Advantage
POS Software and
Point of Sale
Software. This option is helpful to group inventory together
as well as when you search for an inventory item.
SELECT FROM THE
MENU BAR INVENTORY THEN SETUP THEN SETUP INVENTORY CATEGORIES.
n Use
the new category button to add a Category and the edit and delete buttons to edit and
delete Categories.

POS Software and
Point of Sale
Software will warn you if you are deleting a Category that is used in an item record. If you edit a Category, all items with that
particular Category will also be changed to the new Category.
