2.3 CLIENT REFERRALS

BAR CLIENT THEN SETUP THEN SETUP CLIENT REFERRALS
Client Referrals is the
way you can track your source of new customers in ADVANTAGE Salon Software
and Spa Software. Referrals are just
different ways to categorize the ways you get contacts. Use the setup
screen to setup all the different types of referrals.
An example of client
referral is Newspaper Ads, New Request, Repeat Request, or Walk-In.

Use the New Referral button to add a Referral and the
Edit and Delete buttons to edit and delete Referral.

The system will warn you if you are deleting a Referral
that is used in a client record. If you edit a Referral type, all
clients with that Referral will also be edited to the new Referral.
Make sure you select the SAVE button or select the UNDO button
to reverse changes.
It
is not necessary to set up these client referral options to use the
basic functions of ADVANTAGE Salon Software
and Spa Software.
If
you need to track client referrals by other clients, you can do that
in the client referral detail in the client screen and at the time of
payment in the point of sale screen. The point of sale portion of the
program replicates the functions of a cash register but is integrated
with the other functions of the ADVANTAGE Salon Software
and Spa Software program.
