6.5 SETUP SALES TAXES
SELECT FROM THE MENU BAR
POINT OF SALE THEN SETUP THEN SETUP SALES TAX.
This option allows you to setup the 2 tax
rates found in ADVANTAGE
Salon Software and
Spa Software.
One tax rate is for services and the other tax rate is applied to
inventory items.

VAT, value added tax, has limited use based upon the tax
authority.
n
Enter Sales Tax Rate in this format: for 10 % sales tax
enter .01
n
Make sure you select the SAVE button to save your
changes or select the UNDO button to reverse changes.
