7.10 Appointment Book
REPORTS
As with almost all the
reports in ADVANTAGE
Salon Software and
Spa Software the appointment book reports first preview on your
screen when generated. You may not see the complete report on your
screen until you maximize your screen. To maximize your screen select
the middle button of the three buttons found on the upper right hand
corner of the report. That button is between the button that looks like
a dash, which is the minimize button, and the x button which will
actually close the report.
To print your report select
the print report button found on your tool bar. You will also see
options to output your report to notepad, analyze with excel, publish
with word and send via email. You must have Microsoft Excel 97 or
later to use the analyze with excel option on your computer. You must
Microsoft 97 word or later to use the publish with word option. In
order to have use the send option you must have a MAPI compliant email
program installed on your computer like Microsoft outlook or Microsoft
exchange. Just select those options to see what you can do on your
computer.
If you see that your report
does not print clearly or does not view fully on your computer, you may
need to reset your default printer in your control panel to your report
printer. Whenever you do make changes to your printer settings on your
computer make sure ADVANTAGE
Salon Software and
Spa Software is closed. ADVANTAGE
Salon Software and
Spa Software recognizes your
printers on startup of the program.
CONFIRM APPOINTMENTS
To
print out a list of appointments that need to be confirmed, select
Appointment Book from the menu bar then Confirm Appointments.
You will get a list of appointments based on the date you specify
(however, it defaults to today). To change the date, place the cursor
over the current Appointment Date and Right-click. A calendar
will pop up in the middle of the screen that will allow you to select
the date of your choice. After you select the appropriate date, click
the Reset Call List button located to the left of the date. The
screen will display all appointments that have not been confirmed for
that day. You have the option of confirming appointments with or
without a print out.
Standing Appointments List
To
view or print a list of Standing Appointments, select Appointment
Book from the menu bar and then Standing Appointments List.
Here you can view all standing appointments by date, employee, client or
service. You can also generate regular appointments from the standing
appointments in this screen.
SCHEDULE PRINT
You
can print a daily (or even weekly) schedule for each of your employees.
Select Appointment Book from the menu bar then Schedule Print.
You may select one, several or all employees then specify the date range
for the appointments you want to print and select the Preview Report
button. Each employee has his or her own page of appointments. You can
also print the schedule from the WEEK VIEW and DAY VIEW.
WORK TICKETS
Work
tickets are a little different from the regular schedule report. The
Work Ticket gives a full page of information for each client
including the service to be done for the specific day as well as dates
with previous services and prices and products purchased. You may select
one, several or all employees then specify the date and select the
Preview Report button to print. To change the date, place the cursor
over the current Appointment Date and Right-click. A calendar
will pop up in the middle of the screen that will allow you to select
the date of your choice.
*Note: in the Scheduler, you can print work tickets if you right click
on an appointment then select Print. You will be able to select from
two options: Receipt Paper Workslip which you can print to your
receipt printer; or Full Page Work Ticket, which gives the full
page of information about the client and the particular appointment’s
services as well as a list of previous services and products that were
purchased
Note: If you get errors when previewing your reports, don’t be
alarmed. This only means that there is no data to preview for the
selected report and date range. |
